I am doing a french project and I just wanted to know how big a grown flying squirrel is :D thanks! How big is a flying squirrel?
They're a little smaller than a North American gray or red ground squirrel. How big is a flying squirrel?
The average adult flying squirrel weighs 4.9 ounces and is 12 inches in total length - which is smaller than your average ground squirrel and a little larger than a fruit bat.
pretty much the same size as a normal squirrel...or, at least they look like that when they have their legs sspread and gliding to the next tree...why they are called flying..when they glide like that...i seen one glide about 50 yds. once...neat
rocky was 1/4 the size of bullwinkle so i would say about the size of a medium dog.LOL
