The Northern Flying Squirrel ~ One really cool fact or story?

I have to do a project on a animal native to alberta, and i chose the northern flying squirrel.. i have to do like habitat, diet, etc etc, done it all though. i just need one cool fact or story about it... does anyone have any ideas? or a link, i can do it by myself.. just need a starter :D

Northern Flying Squirrels Are Active, Every Season [: But Are Rarely Seen Due To The Fact They Are Noctornal. Their large, dark eyes are specially adapted for night vision, They see in the night, as well as humans see in the daytime. Their fondness for maple sap has often led to their tumbling into sap buckets in spring and drowning.
