Ive had a sugar glider for a while n I just got a flying squirrel. Their both guys, can I put them in the same cage?Do sugar gliders get along with flying squirrels?
You cannot put them in the same cage. The first issue is diet. Flying squirrels require a much different diet than a glider. The second issue is the fact that gliders are omnivores and will kill smaller animals.
In the wild gliders will eat small birds, lizards and other mammals. Your glider will kill the squirrel and eat him.
Different species of animal should not be housed together.
