What would a wildlife/vet clinic do with a dead flying squirrel?

We brought a flying squirrel we found in our attic into a nearby wildlife clinic that takes in injured animals. It was taking heavy breaths every few seconds and the vet there put in an incubator to keep her warm and gave her a shot of some sugary stuff that she said she was dehydrated or something and when we left she was still in the same state...If the flying squirrel did die what would the vet do with it?What would a wildlife/vet clinic do with a dead flying squirrel?
They either throw it away or freeze it. What would a wildlife/vet clinic do with a dead flying squirrel?
They have incinerators usually unless that's changed.
I assume throw it away. It's not like they make enough money to do a burial for them, unless it was a popper's(?) grave.
