check local laws about owning one. then go to www.nfsa.us and check the message board for breeders. you can also order one from helenslittlecritters.com ... some people have had luck with them but there have also been bad experiences. read up on the board. also check www.thesquirrelboard.com under flying squirrel (breed specific). good luck. remember they can live 10-15 years and are LOTS of work!Where can I buy a flying squirrel?
unless you have a lisence for training and keeping you can not purcuse one because they are wild animals. ya they are cute......

Fayetteville bans wild animals defined as ';Any nonhuman primate, raccoon, skunk, fox, wolf, coyote, poisonous snake, leopard, panther, tiger, lion, lynx, or any other warm blooded animal which can normally be found in the wild state, or the offspring borne to wild animals bred with domestic dogs or cats.';
I would get permission from the city first.
