What to do if you find an endangered species (northern flying squirrel)?

I'd like to know if there is anything or anyone that i should contact because I have one of these living in my birdhouse. It's not harmful by any means; I was just wondering because the species is threatened/endangered.What to do if you find an endangered species (northern flying squirrel)?
If this is an endangered species, you should leave it alone, allow it to stay or return to the wild, which ever it chooses. What to do if you find an endangered species (northern flying squirrel)?
Yes, avoid any harm to it, and get advice from your local office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or your local state Game and Fish Department.
