Dude, it's a wild animal leave them in their natural habitat
Flying squirrels are adorable, and every animal has some kind of personality (certainly not boring, or mean). With that said, they wouldn't make a good pet, because they're wild animals and neither you, nor me, nor anyone else on here, would know anything about raising them and letting them live healthy lives. So, aside from them being illegal to own in most states, it really wouldn't be fair to the squirrels to try to domesticate them, no matter how much you're tempted.

We have flying squirrels around our house at night, and they're so much fun to watch...through the windows, of course. :-)
yes
Nearly all pets have ';personalities';, but some don't like to be held or handled that much, because they have lived for less time in human hands For example, a rabbit is a little harder to handle than a dog, because dogs were domesticated thousands of years ago.

Flying Squirrels need a lot of space (like their own room) and are illegal to own as pets in many states. I was once interested in owning a squirrel, only to find that they are illegal in my state as pets. This is to prevent people from killing and wounding wild animals in an attempt to domesticate them. Also, sometimes a wild pet will be obtained when it is young, only to be discarded as it gets older for undesirable traits and lack of original ';cuteness';.

I'd actaully recommend a something else a little like a flying squirrel. Like ferrets, chinchillas, small rats, mice, cats, or if you like air-borne pets, a bird.
uhh... Sure why not?

i guess it would be nice i mean it could be flying squirrel mail!

WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
