How can I make a sock puppet look like a flying squirrel?

Can I have thorough and imformative explaiations guiding me through the proccess step by step? How can I make a sock puppet look like a flying squirrel?
1. Get a brownish colour sock

2. Draw some eyes and some bucked teeth

3. Stick eyes and buck teeth on sock in a squirrelly fashion

4. Find some of fluffy cleaning pipe

5. Make a tail out of it and stick it on somehow

6. To make it believable that he can fly, Make it a little red cape.

7. Attach cape to squirrel sock

Now you are ready to make films with your new little flying puppet. Try making a red and grey squirrel and show in film the battle between the two in a good vs evil manner. Grey being the evil one of course ^_^How can I make a sock puppet look like a flying squirrel?
ok...

1) get a brown or grey sock

2) glue on googley eyes

3) make it have a bushy tail. you could use some furry fabric or somthing.

4) use tiny peices of felt to make ears

5) for the legs since they are connected by skin ... heres what i would suggest. get a square piece of brown or grey fabric and glue it on to the squirrels back. then make the corners stick out like its feet with some short pieces of pipecleaner. so the fabric is like stretched out. (its hard to explain this)

if you dont care about it looking exactly like a flying squirrel then you dont need to do that last part.
Stick a large stone or rock into the end of the sock and throw it into the air as hard as you can
stick needles on the inside of the sock pointing out put sock on hand.. Stalk a flying squirrel, sneak up behind it, and ram the sock up the suirrels backside, preferable while going raaaar!.

After the squirrel succumbs to massive anal haemorraging, you will find it moves around of its own accord a lot less, and tends not to make too much noise- this is OK. It means that the squirrel is what the scientific community term 'dead', and you will find it very cooperative in terms of being a puppet.

You may need to repeat the process after a week or two, as the body of the 'dead' squirrel will start to fall apart and smell bad, which will make the children cry. You may also find that you are haunted by the ghost of the dead squirrel if you keep hold of it for too long, so its important to remember to aquire a new squirrel regularly

This process can be used on a variety of animals, from cats to whales. Avoid using it on hedgehogs, however- get a work experience boy in for these ones...
You are going to need fake fur to make it look like a squirrel. If you're really intent on making it perfect, you might want to sew it on. If not, a strong clue should work. Squirrels have bushy tails, so make sure you use alot of fur for the tail. You'll also need arms and legs, and if I'm right, flying squirrels have a flap of skin to help them glide through the air. The flap, as I'm sure you know, would be between the arm and body of the squirrel. Google eyes would be good. If you want it to fly, use fishing line to make it look like its gliding through the air. I'm not very artistic, and I'm sure i couldnt pull it off..But if you work at it, you can,
