I want to buy a flying squirrel, but i can't find anywere to purchase them. If i can't find a squirrel i would like to have a sugar glider. Does anyone know where i can find one of them in Texas?Flying Squirrels/ Sugar Gliders.?
I definately suggest sugars over squirrels. Sugar gliders are sooo affectionate. but they are expensive and needy. Having one is practically like having a baby.
You have to buy two at a time, and you have to bond with both every day for at least an hour. they are a lot of work, but they will love you so much and they're really cute.

If you don't know how to get one.... then it is very likely that you don't know enough about them to be a responsible care giver. Do your research before buying a pet simply because it is unique and/or sounds like a cool pet!
Are there any Vets in the area that know how to treat it if it were to become sick and/or injured? (I gurantee you that your average Vet doesn't have a clue) Is your house Sugar-Glider-Proofed?
