Are Southern Flying Squirrels Legal In Ohio?

I Want to own one i have heard that they are as long as you have a permit wasn't sure though!?Are Southern Flying Squirrels Legal In Ohio?
Ohio requires a permit to own native animals. Anything exotic has no regulations in Ohio. You might need an import permit to bring one into the state though. Also remember to check your local laws.
