There are flying squirrels across the whole eastern half of the country...
Most people never see them, as they are nocturnal... the best way to observe them, would be to put a feeder up in a tree %26amp; shine a light on it...
%26amp; watch for them to come...

yes, certainly....not sure about the legality of hunting them there, though.
